HOW TO START

Getting started is simple:

  • Book your Free 15-minute consultation to discuss your goals and answer questions.

  • Followed by a comprehensive intake session to understand your concerns and recommend treatment.

  • Personalized, evidence-based therapy designed to help you reach your goals.

INSURANCE & FEES

Insurance can be complex, but we can guide you through it. We are an out-of-network practice; however, many of our clients receive reimbursement for each session depending on their insurance coverage. We can provide clients with an electronic bill to submit for a reimbursement claim as an “out-of-network” provider.

We are happy to walk you through the process of verifying your benefits so you know what to expect before starting. Many clients find that once the initial paperwork is complete, submitting claims is a simple, repeatable step. If you have questions about coverage, we can also suggest helpful language to use when speaking with your insurance representative.

  • We believe therapy should be accessible and affordable for all and offer sliding-scale availability based on financial circumstances when possible.

  • Our fees vary depending on the type of therapy needed.

  • Fees are determined at our free initial consultation

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

• You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

• Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

• If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy of your Good Faith Estimate.

Meet YOUR THERAPIST.

Hello, my name is Dr. Cristina Balesh. I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist providing tele-health services across the state of California. I earned my Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D.) from the University of La Verne in 2016. Following my APA-Accredited internship, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. My training spans inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient mental health clinics, community clinics, a state hospital, and a correctional psychiatric center. Since 2018, I have served as a Staff Psychologist at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Outpatient Mental Health Clinic, refining my evidence-based approach to therapy.

Therapy can feel intimidating, but it doesn’t have to. I aim to create a welcoming, collaborative space focused on easing anxiety, navigating change, and helping you feel more like yourself. Together we’ll clarify what you’d like to work on and move at a pace that feels manageable and respectful of where you are right now.
